Newest addition to the ride. Console from 95 jimmy or blazer, not sure as identifying parts were missing, black leather seats from a 97 grand prix gtp. Driver side has some small tears but not as bad as some that I have seen. I might later on get them recovered in the ruby red to match my interior. Not too bad though, $50 for everything.

Phil, I coulda swore you posted pics of flip out radio install either here or on the "ss" forum. Im lookin for a flip out myself but I need 1 that will flip down. (I say this now but)Im not doing all that work to make a double-din fit in my car and because my dash board has a lip over the radio is why I need a flip down unit! I know I seen them before! I thought the pic you posted was one of those!

I had an old clarion that used to slide out and flip up but the local crackhead jacked it before christmas, now the one I have has a completely removeable screen, clips on the front like a regular cd player.

old one

new one

On another note, just got the new wheel installed.

It has a 4 position tilt mechanism so you can get a good viewing angle. When you want to change the cd/dvd, the bottom of the screen rotates up into a horizontal position as the cd slot is behind the screen. Its not top of the line per say but for the price I'm happy with it, I payed less than $200 thru an ebay store with a 3 year warranty.

If you look at the center top of the screen, thats a 16gig memory card I have my shit stored on, but next to it ut had a mini usb port for mp3 players and what not. It actually came with a 3" cord that has the mini usb plug on one end and a regular usb end on the other for a memory stick

Went to the local pick n pull trying to find a stock diamond spoke rim since one of mine is missing about 6" from the lip. Only had two 90s caprices, one I snagged this grill since mine has faded chrome will paint to match the car, the other had cloth interior but the color matched so I got a clean rear deck carpet and front seat tracks so I can finally get around to putting in my other bucket seat and the console.

Turns out its a cheap aftermarket SS grill, but it will do till I find a clean true SS grill. When I do I'm gonna get a set of billet inserts too. Gives a whole different look to the front, now I need to polish out those dirty headlights.

Since I had to 86 my plans for wire wheels this summer I decided to spice up my stock rims, color matched dark cherry metallic dish and cap, still needs to be cleared

This is the silver flake on the rim centers

Still undecided but thinking of grabbing s few of these from the local pick n pull for the center caps.
